After the LSU Tigers baseball team swept Missouri over the weekend, the baseball team was rewarded with the number one spot in all the major college polls again this week.

The Tigers team beat 8-3 Friday, 8-2 Saturday but it took extra innings Sunday but the Tigers overcame that to win 6-5 in 10 innings.  That was the last regular season home games for the Tigers.

The LSU baseball team are now 43-8 on the season and an impressive 19-7 in Southeastern Conference play.

They LSU Tigers baseball team will now finish out the regular season on the road starting tomorrow night when they take on New Orleans at 6:30 p.m. in New Orleans.  Then the Tigers will travel to Gamecock country and face South Carolina in their final three games of the regular season.  This huge Southeastern Conference series starts Thursday at 6 p.m.
