LSU Baseball Stays In The Middle Of Pack In Polls

The LSU Tigers baseball team had a pretty successful week last week as they went 3-1.  The lost to Tulane last Tuesday but then bounced back to sweep the Alabama Crimson Tide over the weekend.

The polls reflected the success of the Tigers over the past week.  The Tigers landed at #15 in the Baseball America Top 25.  The Tigers claimed the #12 spot in both the Perfect Game Top 25 and D1Baseball.com Top 25 polls this week.

The baseball team will get a well deserved break as they have no mid week games scheduled this week.  They will return back to action this Friday night May 5th when they host the Gamecocks of South Carolina for three games this weekend.

South Carolina and LSU begin the three game series this Friday night at 7:00 p.m. All three games will be played at Alex Box Stadium in Baton Rouge.
