LSU Baseball Falls Big In Latest Polls
The LSU Tigers baseball team have lost five of their last seven games since April 22nd. Also in the past two weeks, the Tigers have lost their last two SEC series to Mississippi State and Ole Miss losing two out of three in both series.
With a 1-3 record last week, the LSU Tigers fell big in the national college baseball polls and almost fell out of the top 25 all together.
The Tigers fell from #8 to #13 in the Baseball America Top 25 poll. The purple and gold also fell from #11 to #17 in the D1Baseball.com poll.
LSU also have come dangerously close to falling out of the Perfect Game Top 25 poll all together. Last week the Tigers were #15 but this week they fell all the way to #24.
LSU is currently 28-16 on the season and 11-10 in SEC play. They will be back in action on Friday when they finally return back to Alex Box Stadium for another SEC series against Arkansas Friday at 7:00 p.m.
