Coushatta Hosts Notah Begay III Junior Golf National Championship

This Sunday, Coushatta Casino Resort in Kinder will be hosting the Notah Begay III Junior Golf National Championship at their golf course, Koasati Pines.

Notah Begay III is a former PGA golfer who has four PGA tour wins in his career. In 2013, he decided to take a break from the tour and become an analyst with the Golf Channel and NBC Sports, where he currently travels, covering PGA tour events.

He has also gotten involved with the junior golf national championship and this year, it will be held right here in Southwest Louisiana. The tournament will start this Sunday, November 15, and run through Tuesday, November 17.

Talented young golfers from all across the country will come together on the Koasati Pines golf course for their chance to win the championship. The public is encouraged to come out and watch this great event and root the kids on to victory.

The golf tournament will also be filmed and aired on national television on Wednesday, December 9 on the Golf Channel, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
