The Saints need three more wins to get their second Superbowl ring. Those wins will have to come against the NFL's best teams and will require a stout defense. There is still no word on whether Keenan Lewis will be a part of that defense. The Saints did however sign another safety to the roster for the playoff run.

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees has been named one of three finalist for the FedEx Air NFL Player Of The Year. Brees is right in the middle of the Saints playoff run and is preparing for their big match up with Seattle this Saturday.

They said the Saints could not win on the road., They said the Saints could not win in the cold. They were wrong. A stingy defense and strong running game give the Saints their first ever road playoff win and sets  up a return trip to Seattle.

The Saints will face frigid conditions when they play the Philadelphia Eagles at home this Saturday. Temperatures will never eclipse the freezing mark Saturday as both teams begin the playoffs.

The New Orleans Saints and the Carolina Panthers square off today and if the Saints can beat the Panthers, they will win the NFC South division and clinch the Number 2 seed in the playoffs.

As we reported yesterday, The New Orleans Saints cut six year kicker Garrett Hartley after he has struggled this season.  Hartley then took to twitter to thank the New Orleans Saints organization and the fans.

The NFL is definitely a "what have you done for me lately" employer. Garrett Hartley won a lot of games for the Saints; yet was released yesterday. Yes he missed some kicks lately; but the Saints are 10-4 this year with him as a kicker. Was he really released for performance or to send the rest of the team a message...

The New Orleans Saints cut six year kicker Garrett Hartley yesterday after he has struggled this season. Hartley who is a product of the Oklahoma Sonners has gone 22 for 30 on field goals this season.

The penalty was definitely a late game changer. It determined possession and mad a 15 yard difference in field position for the Saints. The San Francisco defensive player is crying foul. Does he have a point or not.

The majority of football fans in the lake area are Saints fans; but there are a lot of Dallas Cowboys fans here also. This weeks Saints vs. Cowboys game will pit them against each other in a game that will be nationally televised.

Last Sunday's Saints game not only sickened the "Who Dat: nation ... it also lead to digestive distress in this Smurf.

Which New Orleans Saints Quarterback has started the most consecutive games over the history of the team?  if you're a modern day fan, you might say Drew Brees.  If you're an old-school fan, you might say Archie Manning.  But you'd be wrong both times.
