It has been awhile since Richard LeBouef has played in the Lake Charles area but that is all coming to end this Friday night. Richard and his band Two-Step will be performing live this Friday night, May 24th at Yesterday's night club in Lake Charles.
The City of Lake Charles 15th annual Downtown at Sundown concert series is underway and is scheduled to run through June 7th and will happen every Friday night from 5:30-9 p.m.
This week, Travis Matte & The Kingpins will perform live.
Season four of Swamp People airs every Thursday night on the History Channel. The popular show is getting huge ratings this year being the most watched show on cable TV on Thursday nights.

The McNeese Cowboys baseball team are now 23-30 on the season after losing 8-3 yesterday to Sam Houston State in Southland Conference tournament. The loss put the Cowboys into the losers bracket and they will face the Lamar Cardinals today in an elimination game at noon.
The LSU Tigers baseball team begin their quest to win the Southeastern Conference (SEC) when they start play in the the SEC tournament starting today at noon.
The Tigers finished the regular season with an impressive 48-8 win/loss record and are the #2 seed in the tournament. They are set to face the Alabama Crimson Tide today.
The McNeese Cowboys baseball team finished the regular season with a 23-29 mark and 10-17 in Southland Conference play. There record was just good enough to get them into the post season Southland Conference tournament which starts this afternoon with McNeese in action at 4:00 p.m.
Brad Sapia and Bayou Soul will be performing live at Yesterday's night club in Lake Charles this Sunday night May 19th for Yesterday's Swamp pop Sundays.
The City of Lake Charles announced the 15th annual Downtown at Sundown concert series schedule a couple weeks ago and now the series begins this Friday, May 17th with 'City Heat' and it will run for four consecutive Fridays from 5:30-9 p.m.

Steve Riley has had a pretty good year so far. Steve won his first Grammy award along with Wayne Toups and Wilson Savoy for the Band Courtbouillon back in February.
The #3 ranked LSU Tigers baseball team took two out of three games from Texas A&M over the weekend. The Tigers won Saturday 2-1 in eight innings which secured them their second straight SEC West title.
