The undefeated New Orleans Saints and the undefeated Miami Dolphins will square off tonight on Monday night football.

It seems like the stars have realigned in New Orleans.  Sean Payton is back, the suspensions are all lifted and the Saints finished the preseason at 3-1.  All good things Saints fans are thinking as we head into the kickoff of the 2013 Saints season and today they will face off against a division opponent.

I have spent most of the last thirty years of my life in Lake Charles; but I have made a couple of side trips also. I did live in Baton Rouge for a while and had New Orleans Saints season tickets the year they won it all. There is one thing I remember about all of those games.

Everybody remembers the biggest Saints Vs Falcons game ever. The Saints returning to the Super Dome after Hurricane Katrina. It is the first game back and on a nationally televised Monday night game they face the Falcons. It was a night that Steve Gleason will never forget and nor will Saints fans.
