It's that time again.  It's festival season in Southwest Louisiana and time for the 55th annual Contraband Days festival. I kind of have the inside track on the lineup but of course I can't give it away but I can say it will be awesome!

It's Mardi Gras time and with festival season upon us you know you will here Mardi Gras music. It's like another holiday for Louisiana folks. Arts & Crabs Fest, Southwest Louisiana’s newest and fastest growing seafood festival, will take over the second and third floors of the Lake Charles Civic Center on Saturday, August 20th, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and will feature the best of the Imperial Calcasieu experience with spotlights on Lake Area restaurants, national and regional music, and local art.
