Even though the LSU Tigers pulled out a last second victory over the Florida gators Saturday night 30-27, the Tigers still find themselves outside both national polls.

The LSU Tigers football team will hit the road and travel to Gainsville to take on the Florida Gators Saturday night in the swamp.

The LSU Tigers are now in unfamiliar territory. After the embarrassing loss to Auburn last Saturday 41-7, the Tigers were bounced out of the national rankings that were released Sunday.

This past week, LSU head coach Les Miles announced that he would be making a change at the quarterback position pulling Quarterback Anthony Jennings who threw for two interceptions and lost one fumble last week against New Mexico State and replacing him with true freshman Brandon Harris.

With the anticipation of the #15 ranked LSU Tigers facing #5 Auburn this Saturday night, the SEC announced that the game time and TV network the game will be televised on between the Tigers and Florida Gators set for Next Saturday, October 11th will not be announced until this Sunday.

Tiger fans were stunned at the way the LSU Tigers started off last Saturday against New Mexico State. Quarterback Anthony Jennings threw for two interceptions and lost one fumble and that is when Tiger fans erupted in the stands and were calling for Les Miles to make a Quarterback change which he finally did in the second quarter putting in true freshman Brandon Harris.

The LSU Tigers football team look to bounce back from their shocking loss to Mississippi State 34-29 last week in Tigers Stadium. The Tigers who are 3-1 on the season will face New Mexico State tonight and kickoff at 6:30 p.m. central time at Tiger Stadium.

After Tiger fans were stunned Saturday by the loss to Mississippi State, the LSU Football team also felt the sting as the took a major drop in the national polls.

After their second straight shutout of the 2014 season, the LSU Tigers have moved up two spots in both polls. The Tigers shutout ULM last Saturday night at Tigers stadium beating them 31-0. The previous week, they blanked Sam Houston State 56-0. Where did they move too?

After blowing out Sam Houston State Saturday night 56-0 and improving their record to 2-0 on the season, the LSU Tigers football team now set their sites on their next opponent, the University of Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks.
