After their second straight shutout of the 2014 season, the LSU Tigers have moved up two spots in both polls.

The Tigers shutout ULM last Saturday night at Tigers stadium beating them 31-0.  The previous week, they blanked Sam Houston State 56-0.

The Tigers moved from #10 to # 8 in the AP Top 25 and moved from #10 to #8 in the USA Today Coaches poll released Sunday.

The Tigers who are 3-0 on the season return back home this Saturday when they will start SEC play.  They will host the Mississippi State Bulldogs and the game has a 6:00 p.m. kickoff and will be televised on ESPN.
