After Tiger fans were stunned Saturday by the loss to Mississippi State, the LSU Football team also felt the sting as the took a major drop in the national polls.

I heard several media outlets and I was even saying," They will be lucky to stay in the Top 25, Period!"  Well they were lucky because they fell 9 and 10 spots respectively yesterday when the polls were released.

After losing 34-29 to Mississippi State Saturday, the LSU football team dropped to from #8 to #17 in the AP Top 25 and from #8 to #18 in the Amway Coaches Poll released Sunday morning.  When you look at the score your thinking, Wow what a close game.  It wasn't the case as the score doesn't really reflect how it wasn't that close of a game.
