Before Zydeco artists were getting feet moving in clubs worldwide, it was largely an in-home phenomenon.  For a young Chubby Carrier, it was nothing for his family to empty a room and turn it into a dance floor.

But artists like Chubby weren't content to see Zydeco happen in the corner of a living room.  They wanted to share the experiences they were having, and they wanted to see their music affect a crowd the same way pop music did.  Chubby explains something that any Zydeco fan could also tell you -- Zydeco is happy music that brings people together.  Who wouldn't want to be a part of that?

Check out part five of Chubby Carrier's "Zydeco Storytellers!"
