I have personally noticed people are truly excited about this year. They are even more excited about being able to do some things and get out of the house. This was evident from the sold-out Monster Truck show over the weekend. I had people from all over asking me for free tickets. Unfortunately, they were all out and I couldn't do anything for them.

Well, guess what? There are more things returning this year. One of those is the Spring Art Walk. This is an annual event done by the Arts Council of Southwest Louisiana. It returns on Saturday, May 8 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm in downtown Lake Charles. The event is free and just what the city needs. It will be open to all ages, and you are invited to come out.

There will be coffee shops, businesses, various restaurants, and pop galleries. COVID-19 restrictions will be in place and followed by vendors, venues, and event staff. Those who are planning to attend are encouraged to wear masks and socially distance themselves. There will also be sanitation stations available.
