More and more students are choosing to take part in online programs to obtain degrees. McNeese State University is one of the schools offering this service. Now the university is unveiling another degree that is available with online studies.
The McNeese Athletic Foundation's annual “Denim and Diamonds” fundraiser is tonight at the Burton Coliseum beginning with a 6 p.m. cocktail and silent auction hour.
The McNeese Athletic Foundation's sole purpose for this fundraiser is to generate donation-related income to support athletic programs and scholarships for student-athletes. Here are the details on tonight's event.
Ryan Ivey, who has been with McNeese State University since 2007, is leaving the University to become the Athletic Director at Texas A&M-Commerce.
Texas A&M-Commerce President Dr. Dan Jones made the official announcement today that the University had hired Ryan Ivey as the university’s Director of Athletics.
The McNeese athletic department has announced that this afternoon at 2:00 p.m. outside the Jack Doland field house, they will introduce the new McNeese Horse & Rider Statue.

Well the wait is over. WVUE-TV in New Orleans is reporting that Tyrann Mathieu entered a rehab center on Monday in Houston and will not play football this season.
UPDATE 2:21 p.m.: LSU's sports information director is now claiming that no meeting between Les Miles and Tyrann Mathieu never took place! Michael Bonnette, on his Twitter feed, is now stating that Les Miles himself denies any meeting ever took place. Badger Gate is starting to get as muddy as the Mississippi.
