Where was Tyrann Mathieu last night?  Well McNeese has confirmed that he was meeting with them last night. Now the question of the hour is, will he come to McNeese and play for the Cowboys?  Here is what we know so far.

Earlier today, we reported that Tyrann Mathieu was released from the LSU football program.  Now unconfirmed reports are flying out saying that 'The Honey Badger" is head to Lake Charles and McNeese State University. Now a tweet sent to Tyrann from former LSU teammate Josh Jasper has the rumors flying!

The McNeese Cowboys baseball team finished the regular season Saturday with a loss to Southeastern Louisiana 9-5.  The loss dropped the Cowboys to 17-16 in Southland Conference play and they finish the season with 24-28 overall. The Cowboys Draw the fifth seed in this upcoming weeks Southland Conference tournament which begins Wednesday. Who will the Cowboys play and what time?

The McNeese Men's basketball team made it all the way to the Southland conference championship before losing to Lamar Saturday.  The loss bounced them out of a birth to NCAA tournament. Now the Cowboys are headed to Ohio to play in the CollegeInsider post season tournament tonight.

Every year during the football season, McDonald's of Southwest Louisiana has a pancake breakfast in the Cowboy room to raise scholarship funds for McNeese Athletics.  This year they raised over $5,000.
