They encourage all fans to come out and be a part of this event.  Here are the details.

All fans are invited out on Friday afternoon in front of the Jack V. Doland Athletic Field House for a ribbon cutting ceremony to introduce the new McNeese Horse & Rider statue located at the front of the building.  The event will begin at 2 p.m.

"I want to thank the Cowboy Club for donating the horse and rider statue to McNeese Athletics,” said athletic director Tommy McClelland.  “I believe this is a perfect choice for the front of the new field house. It is our hope that this statue will inspire the Cowboy spirit living within all of us.”

Taking part in the ribbon cutting ceremony will be McClelland, McNeese President Dr. Philip Williams, Cowboy Club President C.J. Hernandez and the board of directors for the Cowboy Club.

The Horse & Rider statue, which faces north on Les DeVall Boulevard., will greet guests as they arrive at the field house.
