Smoke and Barrel Announces Date for 2020 Festival

Smoke and Barrel hosts an annual event that marries the love of amazing BBQ with fine whiskey, all while helping an amazing cause with its partner, United Way of SWLA. The event features over 75 bourbon and whiskey vendors providing samples of their finest collection next to award winning BBQ pit masters showing off what they do best.

It is now time for the third annual Smoke and Barrel. The 2019 event raised $20,000 for United Way of SWLA alone, and the group is hoping to do even better this year. The event is held on the lawn of the Court House in Lake Charles and features live music, food, and beverages. If you want to mingle around, the event features free general admission. Patrons can walk around and enjoy beverages and BBQ from all of the vendors in the general admission area. If you want to try the wide variety of whiskey and bourbon, the event has VIP tickets you can purchase.

Beginning August 21, you will be able to purchase your VIP tickets that will get you into the area to taste the amazing variety of booze the event has to offer, taste all of the BBQ during the event, VIP bathrooms, souvenir shot glass, free beer and wine, a VIP social tent, and be able to order your favorite bottle from the vendors as you taste. You will also be up close to the live entertainment performing throughout the day. The event is scheduled for November 21, but the group assures us they will sell out of VIP tickets extremely fast.
