The Saints have named a new coach to replace their current interim coach who will be suspended for the first six games of the 2012 season who replaced the actual head coach who is suspended for a year!  You get all that?

The New Orleans Saints have announced that Offensive Line/Running Backs Coach Aaron Kromer will take over for Joe Vitt as the head coach for the first six games of the season while Vitt serves his suspension he received from the NFL.

Vitt is currently the Saints head coach replacing Sean Payton who was suspended for a year by the NFL for the Bounty Gate scandal.

Saints Executive Vice President/General Manager Mickey Loomis has designated Offensive Line/Running Game Coach Aaron Kromer to replace Assistant Head Coach/Linebackers Joe Vitt during his absence.

Kromer, entering his fifth season with the Saints, brings 22 years of coaching experience to the coaching staff, the majority of it developing and tutoring offensive linemen. He has also been responsible for coordinating the rushing attack. He will officially take over the duties on Monday, September 3rd.

With all the juggling of head coach to interim coach to replacement interim coach, we will just have to see if the Saints players can overcome all the adversity and rise to the top this season.
