Morgan Wallen Tickets Sell Out Immediately, Resale Prices Soar!

We have been following along with the Morgan Wallen ticket sales since the pre-sale began on Monday. Today, marked the date for all ticket sales to be open. That means upper level and nosebleed seats. Typically those seats are considerably cheaper, and tickets for those seats were rumored to be under $150. I tried to get on this morning to see, but by the time I got there, the only tickets available were under Ticketmaster's Verified Resale Program.

The re-sale program that Ticketmaster has allows those that bought tickets and can no longer attend the event to sell their tickets using Ticketmaster. It makes it secure for both the seller and the buyer in the end. The seller, however, can set their own price as to how much they can sell their tickets for. So how much are these "re-sale" tickets going for? Let me ask you this, do you really need two kidneys?

As of 11:30 am, the time I am writing this, there are 6 actual seats left, excuse me 4 now. These are actual Ticketmaster seats. The seats are 3rd row on the first level and are selling from actual Ticketmaster for $750. That's the same price as they were for the pre-sale so that's no big shocker, honestly. The shocker is when you start looking at the tickets available under Ticketmaster's Verified Resale.

On the upside, you know you are buying verified Ticketmaster tickets. They are real, and you should have no problem with the transaction. Assuming you can afford it, they can be yours in a ton of locations around the Cajundome. The question is, would you pay almost $500 for top-level, against the upper wall, seats? The price goes up from there. Want to sit 1 row in front of the sound engineer? No problem, that ticket will set you back $1,050 each! It's obvious that the resellers going through Ticketmaster can set their own prices, but who in the world would buy a ticket at those prices?
