The weekend is here and there are a ton of things to do in Southwest Louisiana and in Lake Charles. It's the weekend before Thanksgiving so a lot of people are taking next week off which means they are ready to start their vacation this weekend.

The McNeese Block Party concert series is Friday night featuring The Chee Weez which is one of the greatest cover bands ever. The concert will take place on the corner of McNeese and Common Street in Lake Charles and starts at 7:30 pm.

Mistletoe & Moss Holiday Market will be held from Friday, November 19th through Sunday, November 21st at the Lake Charles Civic Center.

K-Bon's restaurant on the corner of Hwy. 397 and East McNeese Street will have Robin and the Sugar Bees on Friday night and Kaleb Oliver on Saturday night. Both bands will play from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm.

Brad Brinkley and Comfort Zone will be live Friday night at Lukes Icehouse in Beaumont from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Then on Saturday, he will be at the Neches River Wheelhouse from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm.

Chasers Bar and Grill located on the corner of Lake Street and University Drive in Lake Charles will have Jason Stutes live in concert Saturday night.

The Golden Nugget casino in Lake Charles will have Flatland Calvary in concert Friday night starting at 8:30 pm in the Grand Event Center.
