LSU Baseball Wins 10th SEC Tournament Title
The LSU Tigers are the 2013 SEC Champions! It took the Tigers extra innings yesterday before they came out on top beating Vanderbilt, the #1 team in the country and the #1 seed in the SEC tournament
The Tigers beat Vanderbilt, 5-4, in 11 innings Sunday to win their 10th Southeastern Conference Tournament title in school history.
The Tigers will now move on to the NCAA Tournament and host a NCAA regional at Alex Box Stadium in the Baton Rouge starting on May 31.
LSU closer Chris Cotton retired Vanderbilt in order in the bottom of the 11th, wrapping up the championship victory. Cotton (4-1) earned the victory and was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player.
Four Tiger players were also named to the 2013 SEC Baseball Tournament ALL-Tournament Team.

The Tigers will find out who will come to Baton Rouge today when the seeding and pairings are released.
The remaining at-large teams, top-eight national seeds, first-round regional pairings and site assignments will be announced at noon ET Monday. The one-hour program will be shown live on ESPNU.
