LSU Baseball Team

The LSU Tigers baseball team have had a rough two weeks. Since starting Southeastern Conference (SEC) play a couple weeks ago, the Tigers have been on the losing end of their first to SEC series.

The 4th ranked LSU Tigers baseball team will host a NCAA Regional starting today in Alex Box Stadium in Baton Rouge.

The LSU Tigers baseball team beat Arkansas 7-2 Thursday in the SEC Tournament at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium and punched there ticket to the Semifinals today.

The LSU Tigers baseball team walked onto the field last night at Alex Box Stadium in Baton Rouge not realizing that they were about to set a school record scoring an unbelievable 27 runs.

LSU coach Paul Mainieri racked up his 1200th career win last night in his career as his LSU Tigers baseball team defeated the McNeese Cowboys at Alex Box Stadium.

The McNeese Cowboys baseball team who are 16-10 overall will wrap their five game road stretch on Wednesday as they travel to take on the LSU Tigers in Baton Rouge.

The LSU Tigers baseball team are set to kick off the 2014 season and to start the season the Tigers will participate in the Major League Baseball invitational.

As we reported yesterday, the LSU Baseball team landed in the #9 spot of the Baseball America top 25 preseason poll.  Now LSU has landed in the top two in one of the major polls.

The LSU Tigers Baseball team finished the 2013 season 57-11 and advanced to the College World Series for the 16th time in school history. One of the preseason polls are out and the LSU baseball has landed in the top 10.

The LSU baseball team had a stellar season making it all the way to the College World Series in Omaha.  One of the big reason they made it that far, other than talent, was the huge support they received from Tiger fans.
