LSU and McNeese Begin Baseball Seasons Tonight
It's finally here baseball fans. The start of the 2016 college baseball season and for the LSU Tigers and the McNeese Cowboys it's a fresh start to improve on last year's successes.
First for the LSU baseball team, they will be looking to make it back to Omaha like they did last season. The Tigers lost 2 out of 3 games in the College World Series to end their season.
LSU starts off the 2016 season as they will host Cincinnati tonight at 7:00 p.m. at Alex Box Stadium in Baton Rouge. Saturday they play at 2:00 p.m. and Sunday at Noon.
The McNeese Cowboys team will look to improve on a 32-25 record from a year ago. The Cowboys made it into the Southland conference tournament but they lost two straight games to end their season.
The Cowboys will also be at home tonight hosting Southern Illinois for three games. Tonight's game is at 6:00 p.m. while Saturday's game is set for 3:00 p.m. and Sundays game is at noon. All three games are being played at Cowboys Diamond here in Lake Charles.
