LoveWorks Lake Charles Celebrates National Hot Dog Day

National Hot Dog Day is celebrated on the third Wednesday in July. For those of you wondering, I did NOT have to Google that. I just love hot dogs. This year's National Hot Dog day is on July 20. Many won't celebrate such a special day, but LoveWorks in Lake Charles is in its own way.

The adult store, located on Prien Lake Road, has decided to celebrate National Hot Dog Day by taking a few billboard ads out to encourage people to celebrate such a special day to us all.

I have to admit, seeing as though we make our money on advertising I shouldn't be showing a billboard since that is our competition. However, it's hilarious. These two ads they're showing are right up my alley on tongue-in-cheek dirty humor and I am totally here for it.

This isn't the first holiday they have celebrated, during Thanksgiving, they ran an ad that said "everyone loves a good stuffing". Well played, LoveWorks, well played.

The comments on the photos are in good humor, mostly. One comment did mention it was a bit crude about it being a sexual innuendo, but she admitted she was a prude. Why can't more people be like that?

I have to be honest, I don't know who came up with it, but it's right down the center lane of my humor. If anyone knows LoveWorks, tell them Your Buddy Russ always needs a sponsor for his show. I am sure we could figure out lots of fun things for it! Holla at me LoveWorks, we can make it happen!
