Lake Charles 2022 Fall Women’s Commission Conference
It's not too late to become a part of the 31st Annual Women's Commission Fall Conference at the Lake Charles Civic Center, Thursday, October 20, 2022. The 2022 guest speaker is Dr. Melva K. Williams, the Vice Chancellor for student affairs and enrollment management at Southern University at Shreveport. With 18 years of working in the realm of higher education, Williams has a long list of accolades including work with three former Presidents (H.W. Bush, Clinton, and W. Bush) under the Presidential Leadership Scholars program, receiving the ATHENA award for her assisting women to attain professional excellence and community service, a founding board member and president of the Shreveport Charter Foundation and so much more.

Registration to attend the conference will be available right up until the event begins on Thursday, October 20, 2022. The cost is $52.00 per person for the entire day or any portion of the day.
