The entire lower part of the state of Louisiana is bracing for the impact of Hurricane Delta. We still have about a day or two before it'll be clear as to where Delta will make landfall. However, residents are being urged to take care of most of their storm preparations now.

The following eleven parishes are currently under a Hurricane Watch as Hurricane Delta approaches the Louisiana shoreline: Acadia, Allen, Evangeline, Calcasieu, Cameron, Iberia, Jeff Davis, Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin, and Vermilion.

Residents are being put on alert that winds can reach 55-70 mph and rains combined with widespread debris left by Hurricane Laura, widespread flooding in some areas is likely.
