Everyone is gearing up for Good Friday where many folks will be cooking it up and celebrating the Easter holiday. The City of Lake Charles will observe the holiday but what does that do for your trash and garbage pick up this week?

Here is the schedule from the City of Lake Charles.

 

 The City of Lake Charles will observe the Good Friday Holiday on Friday, March 29.  There will be no trash or garbage collection on that day.  Changes in trash and garbage pickup for the week of the Good Friday Holiday are as follows:

 

Trash and garbage normally picked up on Friday will be rescheduled for pickup

on Saturday, March 30.

 

Team Green Recycling Truck and Green Station 2 (Alma Lane) will not be

available on Good Friday Holiday, Friday, March 29.  They will resume their

normal schedule on Saturday, March 30.

 

The Wood Waste Facility/Green Station 1 (Broad Street) will not be open on

Friday, March 29, and will resume regular operations on Monday, April 1.

 

Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday routes will remain on their regular schedules.

 

All other services of the Department of Public Works and other City departments will be closed on Friday, March 29, in observance of this Holiday but will resume regular working hours on Monday, April 1.
