I am a winter type of guy. I am a firm believer that you can never take off enough clothes within reason, but you can always put on more. With this weather consistently changing, one thing what we have to do is make sure we are prepared. One thing I have come to terms with is the weather is not consistent here in Lake Charles. With that in mind, you may leave the house with a parka jacket but need shorts by the end of the day.

But one thing I want to know is, where is the snow in Lake Charles? I have radio family in Killeen, Shreveport, and even in my hometown of Meridian. They have all experienced snow over the last 24 hours, and I am just sitting here bummed out.

Believe me, I am not at all jealous, just curious. We have had a hell of a year with COVID-19, and two hurricanes, so I thought we would get the luxury of a little snow. However, I don't want to come off as insensitive since there are still many here in Lake Charles who are without their homes or are still awaiting a new roof for their home. I also sympathize with those who are trapped on the streets with nowhere to go. So excuse me on that, this is just the little kid in me wanting to toss a little snow around.

The ironic thing about this is that I feel like in Lake Charles, we get passed over for a lot. Some of the bigger restaurants pass over us, businesses pass over us, and I even have to remind some artists that we are here right off I-10. So I had to ask, can Lake Charles get some snow, too?
