Well I was just looking around youtube and found this video.  It's a video preview of a documentary that Wilson Savoy and Bennet Rhodes did on Horace Trahan. I watched the video and I can't lie, I want to see the whole thing now.  You have to check this out!

Back in December, Cajun Radio listeners voted Horace Trahan as their 2011 Artist of the Year in a landslide vote.  Horace finally made good on his promise to come accept the award and hold a small VIP concert, and we had an awesome time.

Back in December, we put up a poll and let you, the fans and listeners of Cajun Radio, vote on who you thought should be the Cajun Radio 2011 "Artist of the Year".  We had an overwhelming amount of response which garnered over 5,500 votes from you! 5-4-3-2-1 Happy New Year everyone!  It's been a great year here at Cajun Radio and we wanted to say thank you to all of  you for making Cajun Radio what it has become! Reflecting back on this year, we have had a lot of fun with you guys and gals with great festivals, interviews and concerts.  Here is a look back on 2011.

Every year, it seems like Cajun music takes a bigger and bigger spotlight on the world stage, and we can certainly think of a few names that helped to make that phenomenon happen.  But in the end, who did 2011 BELONG to?  Who's year was it?  We're asking you to help us name the Cajun Radio 2011 Artist of the Year!
