It's time to hit the links once again to help benefit needy military families!  We've got your entry form for the second annual Townsquare Media Golf Classic at Contraband Bayou Golf Club at L'Auberge Casino Resort.  Make sure you mark off Monday, June 10 on your calendar!  Oh, and did we mention you could also win a NEW CAR?

So, the odds that you’ll make a hole-in-one on any given golf shot are pretty long to begin with — but how long do those odds get when a brand new Nissan 370Z is on the line? Don’t ask me — I failed math. But you can ask golfer Norman Chapper, if you want, since he actually did it on Monday at the first annual Townsquare Media Classic at L’Auberge Du Lac’s Contraband Bayou.

The 2nd annual "Clean the Bayou" event is this Saturday May 5th, 2012. Clean Bayou is a driving nonprofit organization dedicated to cleaning up the litter and pollution from the beautiful waterways of Southwest Louisiana.  Here are the details on how you can get involved.

For all of you that commute to work on Lake Street in Lake Charles, you will need to start taking another route in the mornings and on the way home.  Lake Charles Public Works Department has closed the Contraband Bayou Bridge for at least four months.  Here is a statement from the city:
