Alligator Hunting

The refuge will be closed temporarily in September for the most "Louisiana" reason ever.

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries announced that Rockefeller Wildlife Refuge will delay opening each day for at least a week while hunters harvest nuisance alligators.

As we reported back in September, 'Swamp People' reality show stars R.J. and Jay Paul Molinere were arrested for aggravated battery after allegedly hitting a man with a beer bottle in August. Both of the stars of the show appeared in court on Friday,m October 18th and plead not guilty to the charges.

Jay Paul Molinere who is one of the stars of the hit show 'Swamp People' has just tweeted a picture about his new baby girl that was born this morning.  He also unveiled the name of his new addition.

The hit show "Swamp People" on the History Channel is coming back for a fourth season.  All your favorites will be back and now I have found out via Twitter the possible month the show will start in 2013.

Over the weekend, I emceed the Bayou Bash at the Prien Lake Mall.  The event was full of great food, carnival rides for the kids and live music. Horace Trahan and Damon Troy rocker the Bayou Bash and we also got a visit from R.J. and Jay Paul from the show "Swamp People".  I had a chance to interview the guys and this is just a little of what they had to say.

It's time to go back to the swamp!  The hit reality show "Swamp People" is back for another season of gator hunting in South Louisiana. Season three of the hit series will return back to the History Channel in February.  Want to know when and what time the show will premiere?
