Meteorologists Saying To Expect Snow Tomorrow In SWLA
Several local meteorologist are saying that SWLA is due for more snow this winter tomorrow!
That would've been awesome if it happened today with the kids being off from school so they could've spent the whole day playing and such. However, thus is life.
Meteorologist Chris Cozart from KLFY in Lafayette says the Lake Charles area should expect 1.2 inches of snow tomorrow!
It's gonna be cold tomorrow, here's our local forecast from NOAA for Tuesday:
Tuesday
A 40 percent chance of rain, mainly after noon. Cloudy, with a temperature falling to around 33 by 4pm. North wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
Tuesday Night
A chance of freezing rain, mainly before midnight. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 22. North wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
22 degress?! You gotta be kidding me! I don't even own a jacket. It's been the coldest winter that I can remember here in SWLA.
Meteorologist Ben Terry from KPLC says for the Lake Area to expect a more conservative 1/2 inch of snow tomorrow.
However much snow we get tomorrow is debatable at best, but the one thing that is for sure...it will bring out the kid in all of us!
