Lafayette Meteorologist Chris Cozart from KLFY says that we should see snow this Friday in the Lake Area and SWLA!

That stinks for DeRidder and Alexandria barely missing out on some snow, but I guess that's life.

I don't know about you, but I'm giddy like a little school girl!  I know my kids are gonna be pumped to see snow, even if it's just a little dusting on the grass.

I remember when I was really young in the '80s, we had a great snow here in SWLA.  My cousins made a snowman. Although it wasn't that big, my dogs loved it, and that's when I found out my talent of hitting ears with snow balls.

I didn't realize at the time that it was a talent; I thought it was just happenstance that I laced one right down the pipe straight into my dad's ear.  Later in life when I moved to Jonesboro, AR, my wife had never seen snow.  So, like anyone would do, she challenged me to a snow ball fight.  Without hesitation, I called upon my snow ball skills and laid one right into her ear canal at the beginning of the brawl.  It was over almost as soon as it started.

I now know that, when snow and ears are involved, I have pinpoint tomahawk missile accuracy!

Needless to say, I hope some unsuspecting victim blindly challenges me Friday!
