This weekend is full of events and activities and the McNeese Rodeo is one of those events happening. The McNeese rodeo runs Thursday through Saturday and features college rodeo teams from all over competing in bull riding, roping, barrel racing, and more. Over 300 college cowboys and cowgirls will compete representing 13 college teams in the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association. It also features its famous "Halloween Rodeo" where riders dress up in their best Halloween costumes while they compete in their various categories during the rodeo.

The Halloween Rodeo begins tonight at 8 pm with admission only $5. Children 5 and under are free plus McNeese students and faculty are free with a valid McNeese ID.

Friday, the show starts at 730 pm and continues Saturday with another show at 5 pm. The Friday and Saturday shows are $10 each and tickets can be purchased at the gate when you go to enter.

This will certainly be a rodeo you do NOT want to miss as the McNeese Women's team is currently holding first place in their ranks and the men's team is holding 3rd place. It's all taking place at the Burton Arena in Lake Charles.
