Manslaughter in Welsh Puts Jennings Woman Behind Bars

A Welsh resident is dead and another one recuperating from a double shooting that happened in Welsh this afternoon.  

While victims' names have not yet been released, police confirmed that one man remains in stable condition after being shot in the shoulder in the 500 block of Naebers Street.  The second man died from his wounds at the Jennings American Legion Hospital earlier this afternoon.

Meanwhile, 26-year-old Rosalyn Breaux is behind bars on charges of manslaughter and attempted manslaughter. The case remains under investigation, and the name of the deceased has not yet been released by authorites.
