The weekend is here and it's time for one of the biggest festivals that Southwest Louisiana has all year. it's the 2024 edition of the Iowa Rabbit Festival and it will take place starting tonight through Saturday night at the Burton Complex in South Lake Charles.

This year's festival will not have a carnival but will feature RV spots, plenty of great food, a rabbit cook-off, a rabbit show, and great live music for two straight days. The music will get started tonight inside the Burton and then Saturday morning the cook-off will begin with live music from late morning through the afternoon before we move the party back inside Saturday night for the second night of great live entertainment.
