Well folks, the popular concert series Downtown at Sundown is coming to a close this Friday night with Rusty Metoyer & the Zydeco Krush.

Ok Cajun and Zydeco music fans, Rusty Metoyer will perform live this Saturday afternoon at the Cowboy Corral for the McNeese Tailgate Party before the big game against Stepehn F. Austin.

This is the last days leading up to Mardi Gras on Tuesday and Cajun Radio had the opportunity to hang out with two great Cajun and Zydeco artists Saturday night. I was the emcee at the Krewe of Concoctions Mardi Gras party in downtown Lake Charles featuring Rusty Metoyer & Zydeco Crush and Travis Matte and the Kingpins.

Last year during the Mardi Gras weekend leading up to Fat Tuesday, our buddy and Zydeco artist Rusty Metoyer played the gumbo cook-off. We found this cool video of Rusty rocking the crowd.
