‘Downtown At Sundown’ Finale Tonight With Rusty Metoyer
Downtown at Sundown is coming to a close tonight. The four week concert series had been very well received and has had huge attendance. Some of the great acts that have performed over the last couple weeks included Grammy award winner Jo-EL Sonnier and Grammy nominee Marcia Ball.
Well tonight it all comes to an end as Cajun and Zydeco artist Rusty Metoyer and Zydeco Krush to rock the stage tonight from 6pm to 9pm downtown! Rusty is from right here in Lake Charles where he attended St. Louis high school. Since then, Rusty has been touring all over the place entertaining crowds and releasing some great music.
Rusty will play all your favorite Cajun and Zydeco songs plus his well known songs like "Don't ya know Waltz/Two Step and the Mosquito two step.
Downtown at Sundown is free and open to all ages ends this Friday.
Remember that this year, Downtown at Sundown moved locations from the corner of Broad Street and Ryan Street and now will take place on Ryan Street in front of Historic City Hall and the Parish Courthouse.
