Wow I can't believe it has been 10 years since Hurricane Rita. So much has changed in the past 10 years. I have so many memories from that time from the preparation at the radio station to the order to evacuate. Here is my look back at the events and things I experienced during that crazy time.

So a couple weeks ago I was broadcasting live from the Iowa Rabbit festival on our sister station Gator 99.5 FM when I had a chance to snag Geno Delafose from back stage and talk to him live on the air.
I had the opportunity to meet Glen Saturday night and get to talk to him. Let me tell you guys, he is one of the nicest guys I have ever met in the music industry. He was so down to earth and wanted to know about me. That is rare!
Here is a video from his performance last weekend of his performance of 'Goodbye Time' from last Saturday night. He sounds just like Conway Twitty
So there I was last Friday evening in Iowa Louisiana for the 2015 Iowa Rabbit Festival broadcasting on Gator 99.5. During my broadcast, I grabbed my good buddy Wade Hampton from KPLC and had him talk with me live on the radio.
Then Wade asked me to come on TV live with him to talk about the entertainment lineup for the festival.
