It's finally the weekend!  I know what your thinking, What am I going to do?  Well don't worry because I got you covered. Here is a schedule of where all your favorite Cajun, Swamp Pop and Zydeco bands are playing this weekend!

Every year, it seems like Cajun music takes a bigger and bigger spotlight on the world stage, and we can certainly think of a few names that helped to make that phenomenon happen.  But in the end, who did 2011 BELONG to?  Who's year was it?  We're asking you to help us name the Cajun Radio 2011 Artist of the Year!

Travis Matte and the Kingpins will be in Lake Charles Friday night December 9th at Yesterdays Night Club. Travis brings his high powered show to the stage at Yesterdays with his big hits like "Tiger Tailgate Party" and "Vibrator".

So I was scanning around YouTube and found this awesome video of Travis Matte doing " House of the Rising Sun" from his latest CD " Old School". This video is really cool and I was glad to see Travis cover this song made famous by The Animals.  Check it out.

Travis Matte & the Kingpins will be back in the Lake Area this Friday night at Yesterday's night club. Travis Matte will bring his high power show into the club voted the best place to hear and dance to live music.

Travis Matte & the Kingpins are coming back to the Lake Area after being out touring all over the place the past few months.  The King of the high energy concerts will be here in Lake Charles Friday night at Yesterdays Night Club.
