April 29, 2013 The 2013 NFL draft is now over and the LSU football program had a record number of players drafted over the three day event.
A lot of eyes were on the draft to see where the 'Honey Badger' Tyrann Mathieu would be drafted or if he would be drafted at all. Well he was along with 12 other LSU Tigers.
April 25, 2013 The 2013 NFL draft starts tonight inside the historic Radio City Music Hall in New York City and goes through Saturday. The LSU Football program has a school record 14 former players that could be drafted during the three day event including Barkevious Mingo, Eric Reid, Russell Shepard and Tyrann Mathieu.

Tyrann Mathieu is back in the headlines but this time it is for a positive reason.
Tyrann who has been nicknamed the 'Honey Badger' passed his drug test at the NFL scouting combine in February and will enter the NFL Draft which begins Thursday night April 25th.

February 15, 2013 Well it is about to be official. LSU and head coach Les Miles will hold a press conference today to announce the hiring of a new offensive coordinator for the football program.
Speculation is that is will be former Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Cam Cameron who had been with the Ravens for the last four years.
UPDATE 12:00 p.m.--- Cam Cameron, whose career includes head coaching positions at the NFL and collegiate levels, has been named the new LSU's offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach by head coach Les Miles today.
January 24, 2013 After the Arkansas Razorbacks football program took a run at getting current LSU football head coach Les Miles, the LSU athletic program stepped up with a new contract to keep Miles in Baton Rouge for at least seven more years.
Now it is being reported that the amended contract will have to be presented to the Board of Supervisors for approval because the new contract contains a salary increase for miles from 3.751 million a year to 4.3 million per year plus other incentives.

The LSU Tigers will have to overcome some adversity as they lost a key player due to suspension leading up to this game
December 28, 2012 I was surfing around on the old Youtube and found this hilarious video of the LSU Tigers mascot "Mike the Tiger" getting ready for the 2012 Chick-fil-A Bowl game against Clemson.
The video shows Mike working outwith a trainer who eventually betrays him for a cute girl that is a Clemson fan. it made me laugh out loud so I wanted to share with you.
December 27, 2012 The #8 ranked LSU Tigers football team arrived in Atlanta yesterday and will be there for the next six days as they prepare for the Chick-Fil-A bowl on Monday night when they take on the #14 ranked Clemson Tigers.
December 20, 2012 Breaking news out of LSU, Sophomore punter Brad Wing has been suspended for the LSU Tigers bowl game on New Years Eve.
