The LSU Tigers baseball team have taken over five of the top spots in the national baseball rankings.

The LSU Baseball team went three for four last week and improved their record to 18-2 on the season. The only loss the Tigers suffered was last Saturday when the lost 5-3 to Ole Miss in 14 innings.

The McNeese Cowboys will travel down I-10 today and will take on the #1 ranked LSU Tigers baseball team today in Baton Rouge. The Cowboys have won seven of their last eight games and are currently are 11-5 on the season.  The Tigers are coming off of a weekend sweep at the Houston Classic and sport an impressive record of 15-1...

Today will mark the 13th game in a row at the box as they take on Grambling at 3 p.m. at Alex Box in Baton Rouge. The national rankings were also released this week and the Tigers are in the top five in all the major polls except two.

If you haven't noticed lately, many celebrities and public figures have been taking what they call "The Ice Bucket Challenge" in support of finding a cure for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), the debilitating condition also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. With that being said LSU Baseball head Coach Paul Mainieri and legendary LSU baseball coach and athletic director Skip Bertman take the challenge sent to them by Kelly Viator who is the executive director of the Louisiana-Mississippi chapter of the ALS Association and by longtime LSU baseball fan Ivan Cabrera.

The LSU Tigers Baseball team are coming off of a 46 - 16 - 1 2014 season and are looking toward the 2015 season. Yesterday, LSu announced their 2015 baseball schedule.

The 4th ranked LSU Tigers baseball team will host a NCAA Regional starting today in Alex Box Stadium in Baton Rouge.

The LSU Tigers baseball team beat Arkansas 7-2 Thursday in the SEC Tournament at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium and punched there ticket to the Semifinals today.

The LSU Tigers baseball team walked onto the field last night at Alex Box Stadium in Baton Rouge not realizing that they were about to set a school record scoring an unbelievable 27 runs.

The LSU Tigers baseball team have won eight of their last nine games and currently sit at 28-9-1 on the season.  They beat Southern Miss 13-5 in the 11th Wally Pontiff Jr. Baseball Foundation Classic Tuesday night and now will take on Ole Miss in a three game series beginning tonight in Oxford.

LSU coach Paul Mainieri racked up his 1200th career win last night in his career as his LSU Tigers baseball team defeated the McNeese Cowboys at Alex Box Stadium.
