It's been a busy week on campus and here in Southwest Louisiana as McNeese State University has been celebrating homecoming.  Thursday night was the big event as the homecoming parade rolled down Ryan street and ended back up at Cowboy's stadium for a big pep rally and fireworks.

The Cowboys are currently 4-4 on the season and 3-3 in Southland conference play  The pokes look to make it two wins in a row and are coming off of an impressive win over Northwestern winning 48-27.

They will host Abilene Christian who is sitting at 1-7 on the season and 1-5 in Southland Conference play.

Tailgating starts early today by the football filed leading up to kickoff tonight.  The homecoming game between the pokes and Abilene Christian kicks off at 6:00 p.m. in Cowboy's stadium.
