(No pre-registering required)

JUDGE TIME – 11:00 a.m.

$25.00 PER ENTRY

TWO DIVISIONS:

MAIN DISH AND APPETIZER

"THE PEOPLES CHOICE AWARD"

Cook enough food for the crowd to sample for a chance to win the "Peoples Choice Award"

Main Dish and Appetizer

(1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes for each Category)

Main Dish- 1st. place- $500 and Budweiser prizes

2nd place- $100

3rd place- $50

Appetizer Dish- 1st. place- $500 and Budweiser prizes

2nd place- $100

3rd place- $50

Information on Categories Judged

1. Percentage of Rabbit used (must be 50% or greater)

1 - 5 points possible

2. Creativity - (originality of dish)

1 - 5 points possible

3. Texture - (under cooked,over cooked,burnt etc.)

1 - 5 points possible

4. Seasoning - (not enough,too much)

1 - 5 points possible

Basic Rules

1. No pre-registering necessary

2. Registration will start at 6:30 a.m. Sat. March 19th.

and end at 7:30 a.m.

3. All food must be ready for judging at 11:00 a.m. sharp and must be brought by the team captain to the judges tent.

4. $25 per team, per category(maximum of 4 persons

per team) to be paid at registration

5. Serving Dishes will be provided

6. Water and electricity are available (bring extention cords)

7. Teams must provide own cooking equipment,tables,chairs,tents

via Iowa Rabbit Festival.

No need to pre-register, Just show up at 630 am Saturday morning with everything you will need to cook and win some cash and bragging rights for a year!!!
