Former Cajun Artist Hunter Hayes Receives His Gold Record For “Wanted” [VIDEO]

It's official. As we reported in June, former Cajun musician turned Country music star Hunter Hayes had his first country music Gold record.

Now he has received the gold record live on television yesterday on the show "The Talk". We have the video of him receiving the gold record.

It takes 500,000 sales to reach the Gold status when it comes to songs. This includes hard copies and downloads. Breaux Bridge’s Hunter Hayes song “Wanted” has reached Gold status and his song “Storm Warning” is not far behind.

Hunter has already been on tour with Taylor Swift and coming up in September, Hunter will go out on tour with Carrie Underwood. A gold record and now touring with Carrie Underwood, Hunter Hayes has come along way from the little boy playing the accordion. Congrats Hunter! Make Cajun music fans proud!
