What’s Happening Beneath the I-10 Bridge? Federal and Local Officials Declare Crime Scene

Officials are keeping tight-lipped about the reason why, but the area beneath the Interstate 10 bridge over the Calcasieu River has been declared a crime scene and is closed to the public.

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office sent out a release saying they are working with the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security to process the area. They have released no further details at this time.
