Ok Wayne Toups fans.  It is finally here.  The brand new album from Wayne Toups has been released.  This is the first album Wayne has released since his since his 2009 release "Wayne Toups Live 2009" album and it's his first studio release since his "Reflections of the Past" record in 2005.

The first single from the new album is called "A Good One" that you have heard played here on Gator 99.5.  Wayne Toups is the ultimate balladeer and this song proves it.  Wayne Toups has always been known for his soulful, heart tugging songs and he delivers them in only a way that Wayne Toups can.  His new single is no exception!

The new album from Wayne Toups contains 11 songs on the new record.  Some of the songs were written some well know artists and songwriters you may be familiar with. The first song on the album is called "Ain't Love Sweet" which was written but country music sensation Hunter Hayes.

A couple of songs like "I'm Alive and Tears On The Bayou" were written by Southwest Louisiana and Iowa native Randy Boudreaux and Wayne Toups.  Boudreaux is also know for penning the song "Brokenheartsville" performed by Joe Nichols and "Alibis" performed by Tracy Lawrence.

Some of Wayne's special guest musicians on the record include country music icon Lee Roy Parnel, John Wesley Ryles and one half of Brook & Dunn, Kix Brooks lends some vocals on the third track "Down Where The River Ends".

Other than "A Good One", my favorite song on the record is "Tears On The Bayou".  it is an awesome ballad and listening to Wayne sing it you can hear the pain and tears in his voice. My opinion? It is Phenomenal!
