According to Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office(CPSO), the FBI and DHS Homeland Security Investigations have ended their crime scene investigation of the area under the east side of the I-10 bridge.  The agencies have been processing the land for about a week, in search of a body.  The entire CPSO investigation began as result of a rape that occurred in Calcasieu Parish.  The case led investigators across jurisdictional lines and later led to the involvement of the FBI and HSI.

It's being reported 35-year old Gammion L. McCloud, of Phoenix, AZ., repeatedly raped, burned and beat his domestic partner while staying at a local motel between March 5 and 22 in  2014.  On one occasion, McCloud held the woman at gunpoint and raped her in the presence of minor, who was in the same bed crying.
According to the CPSO, a warrant was issued for McCloud's arrest on July 8, 2015.  He is being charged with 1 ct. of aggravated rape; 1 ct. aggravated incest; and 2 cts. 2nd degree battery.  His bond was set by Judge Guy Bradberry at $1.25 million.  Wednesday, August 12, McCloud was taken into custody on unrelated charges by the Springfield Police Department in Springfield, OR.  He is waiting to be extradited back to Calcasieu Parish.
