While the movie was filmed in various locations. Some of the best shots were in Lafayette and Lake Pontchartrain. The movie was filed in 1969 and starred Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper. The movie was set where motorcyclists would be transporting drugs to New Orleans just in time for Mardi Gras. We all know how Louisiana loves to have a good time.
