It's Mardi Gras time in Southwest Louisiana and that means it's also time for the traditional Mardi Gras and chicken runs.

Le Krewe Du Le Originales Et Les Enfant is having just that!  Friday and Saturday, February 3rd and 4th, the party is on!  It is one of the funnest Mardi Gras runs you can be apart of in Southwest Louisiana.

7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
Registration for horses and floats.
$5.00 entry fee for Float and Horse Riders, Children 12 and under FREE
Traditional Mardi Gras music is provided on the run!
All floats must provide your own PORT-A LET

9:00 a.m.
The Traditional Mardi Gras and Chicken Run starts at the Duck Festival grounds with chicken throws during the run.

12:00 Noon
Lunch will be served on the run weather permitting.  Otherwise the meal will be served back at the Duck Festival grounds.

1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
The Traditional Mardi Gras and Chicken Run continues through the countryside.

3:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
The Traditional Mardi Gras and Chicken Run joins in with the Gueydan Mardi Gras Parade down Main Street.

    Return to the Duck Festival grounds after the parade to music by cheap shots featuring special gusets The dance is free for Run participants.

    Live Auction will be held during a band break.   Everyone is invited.
